About Us

Rev. Robert C. Lewis

Robert C. Lewis is a graduate of the University of Houston and Dallas Theological Seminary. He has also done post-graduate work at the University of Missouri and at the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City.

His ministry is based on teaching from the original languages. He teaches verse by verse through the Books of the Bible, develops categories of doctrine, and presents Scripture in its archaeological, cultural, and historical contexts. In this way believers acquire the character and maturity only God's Word can provide.

He has pastored Glendale Baptist Church in Houston, Texas since 1992. He has also served the faculties of Oak Hills Bible College and Tulsa Seminary of Biblical Languages. He is the author of four Bible study manuals - on Isaiah, Luke, Acts, and Revelation.

History of "QuickNotes" and Our Mission

"QuickNotes" has been on the internet since the summer of 2000 and has been blessed with a worldwide audience. To reach a larger audience we are adding QuickNotes in Español for the Spanish-speaking world.

It is my desire to provide accurate biblical content in an easy-to-read, easy-to-teach format for busy pastors and teachers. These doctrinal summaries, longer studies, overheads, and PowerPoint® presentations may be used in worship services, Sunday school, Bible studies, and personal growth. They are comprehensive summaries of biblical truth that I use in my teaching ministry. I hope they will be of help to you.

What is desperately needed in these last days is a revival in this country and for the deeper things of God to be taught in the local churches around the world. If these notes contribute in any small way, it will have been worth the effort.
